La Haciedan golf links is located on the west side of Malaga in Spain, not far from the Sotogrande golf area that is home to courses like San Roque & Valderrama. Check out my review of Valderrama. We stayed at the Fairmont La Hacienda next to the course which is highly recommendable.
Hole 1
I booked the first tee time in the morning and it was a beautiful day for golf. The sunrise during the first holes was amazing. The first hole at La Hacienda Links is a downhill par 5. It is very reachable at only 426m.
HOLE 3
The third hole is the most difficult par 4 measuring 415 meters.
HOLE 4
Hole 4 is uphill and a short par 4 measuring 314 meters. The fairway slopes to the right and there is not much room for error. I hit a 7 iron from the tee and aimed over the trees in the middle of the fairway. The ball ended up on the right hand side in the rough. Made bogey after a poor approach shot.
HOLE 4
The 4th hole is the first par 3 on the course. It plays 147m and I hit a nice 8 iron just to left of the green. I got up and down for my first par of the round.
HOLE 5
Osaka golf club hole 5 is a really good par 5. It is some severe slopes and especially for the approach shot to the green. lt is playing 448m. I missed my tee shot into the right hand side rough and did not advance the ball well. I made a very poor. bogey on a fairly short and easy par 5.
HOLE 6
The 8th hole is a short par 4 playing just over 300m. It is a blind tee shot and I opted for the driver to try and get close to the green. I missed my tee shot to the left and hit my approach shot too far. Another bogey which was disappointing.
HOLE 7
The 7th is a par 5 with a blind tee shot and approach shot downhill to the green. I hit a really good drive but didn’t manage to capitalize. Made bogey.

The 10th is another straight forward par 4.
HOLE 12
The 12th is a downhill par 3 with water in front. A well designed par 3 playing 166m.
HOLE 14
The 14th is an uphill par 4. It is a short hole and I played a hybrid from the tee. The approach shot is uphill and I made the mistake of coming up short in the bunker which resulted in a bogey.
HOLE 15
The 15th is another short uphill par 4.
HOLE 18
Good finishing par 5 with a huge bunker by the green.
MY EXPERIENCE
La Hacienda Golf Links is a great experience and the golf course has some amazing views. The course is undulated and well designed with many strong holes. The course was in good condition considering it was the month of February. Definitely worth a visit.
